Step 2 - Register for the Tour
Once you have become a member of the tour financially you must register for the actual tour. We run three tours a challenge tour, european tour and a us tour. (More information can be found in the tour vision section of the site) Please go to http://www.mogulbasher.com/tour/main.php
You will be presented with a log in screen. Please click SignUp. You will be prompted for information about your player. All new players will initially be attached to the Challenge Tour and given a handicap of -9. You will be eligible to compete in events immediately. There are many ways to move up to either the European Tour or the US Tour, please see the Tour vision documentation.

Step 3 - Check the list of tournaments you are eligible for.
Go to the My Player menu and select my eligible events from the drop down. This will give you a list of events you are eligible to play in. To register for an event go to the My Player Menu and select Event Registration from the drop down. It will give you a list of events you are eligible for and allow you to register for them

Step 4 - Check the conditions of the event you are going to play
Now that you are registered for the tour and your first event you must go and check the conditions for the event. This can be done under the Tour Central menu by selecting the Current Tournament Event from the drop down. Please note that although we allow all players to view data accross all tours you must be looking at the event for the tour you are playing.
Now that you have your conditions you are ready to play.

Step 5 - Playing Options
We allow both offline and online play. Our scoring system supports up to 4 players playing together online when it comes to submitting scores. If you would like to play online we offer to our membership a dedicated links launching lobby where you can go hang out and find fellow tour members to play online with as well as a dedicated teamspeak server for online voice communication. Access to the lobby to see who is online and access to the who is on teamspeak server can both be found in the Pro Shop menu "Live Online".

Step 6 - Playing the Round
Head on over to the Current Event page under the Tour Central menu. There at the bottom you will see two choices of ltf files - With or Without Crowds. Download one of them to your hard drive. Start links and select "Play Golf" and Email Tournament. Open the ltf file you downloaded. When you start your round the game will tell our server you began and each time you restart a round and where you restarted. At the end of the roudn the game will send in your score to our server automatically. It will also tell you where it saved your VRX file. If the score did not report automatically (Check the leaderboard) then you can go to MY Player Report a VRX round and manually submit it. If it failed to submit your round the server will send you an email explaining why
You are done..

Step 7 - Checkin your position on the leaderboard.
In order to add reality you cannot see any scores in an event you are registered for until you have played that round. Once you have played R1 you will be able to go to the leaderboard and see all the scores for that round. The leaderboard can be found under tournament Official event from the drop down.At this point it will rank the players by net score. It will also show the projected cut line based on R1 play so you can see where you are relative to the cut.
And that is about it for a getting started guide. If you have additional questions please feel free to post them under the forum (see Home menu) and browse around the entire site checkin out the other menus. There are lots of statistical information world rnakings qualifying etc...

Have fun and play well!
